Background

The work of the UIP is not possible without the dedicated and committed service providers who work in the precincts daily to ensure they are safer and cleaner. BOSS UIP Security Services takes care of the security in the CBD and NEB precincts, while Shanela Environmental Management Services handles the cleaning requirements in the CBD. The cleaning and security service providers for the SB precinct are entrusted to Shanela Environmental Management Services and BOSS UIP Security Services. The current teams are recruited through a formal tender process which occurs every three years. These contractors are committed and dedicated and strive towards excellence.

Members are encouraged to attend precinct meetings in their relevant areas to get feedback on the work being done and to voice any problems. The UIP Company, together with its teams is committed to providing the best possible service.
